Hi there, Explorers! We hope you’re all having a great time in Core Keeper and that you’re enjoying all the new content, features, and secrets in the underground.

Standard type character is strongly recommended over hardcore, for all players. It is also recommended that new players start in a normal mode world. Hard mode currently doubles the health and damage of all enemies and bosses, for little to pelo pay-off.

You can't really make these items until you get to the mid-game, either, so take advantage of the Core's Waypoint in the early game and build your base near it!

Cutscene Crashes: We’ve had some reports of the game crashing right after the intro cutscene, preventing Explorers from starting new adventures.

Buffs/Debuffs: All of your buffs and debuffs will be shown below the Hunger bar. You can put your mouse over a buff or debuff to see what it does.

The first time I saw glowing red eyes blinking in the dark in one of the more distant biomes I got so panicked I wound up swinging a berry pudding I had in my inventory instead of my sword. Tunneling into any new area, surrounded by pitch-black darkness and only clearing a path wide enough for yourself can be creepy and claustrophobic.

I just bought the game and just like Minecraft it throws me into a dungeon and explains basically nothing. The crafting menu is so pixelated it feels quite uncompfortable for the eyes and controls fell les intuitive then what I know from other games.... however enough of whining. What am I supposed to acive here?...
